Jalandhar: The Union Minister for Human Resource
Development, Government of India, Shri Prakash Javadekar will inaugurate annual
conference ‘Share the Vision’ and ‘Tri-Colour Unity Walk’ at Lovely
Professional University (LPU) on 26 December 2016. Based on LPU Human Capital
of 4000+ faculty and staff members, record one kilo-meter long three-coloured
seven rows of walking human beings will hold a vibrant respect for the National
Flag. Hon’ble Minister will also chair opening session of simultaneously going
two-day 15th Annual Conference ‘Share the Vision’ of LPU.
The theme of the conference is ‘Celebrating Togetherness’, where Mr Minister
will bestow 15 years’ service award upon LPU employees who have been rendering
their services to the university since its inception.
It
is the maiden visit of Hon’ble Minister to the area which is certainly going to
magnify the dimensions of the celebration. Active in politics since his college
days, Mr Javadekar has held many prestigious positions in Indian Government,
national committees and boards. He has been honoured with various national
awards. He has also authored many books on social issues including problem of
unemployment, infiltration, loan waiver, inflation and other political issues.
A visitor of almost all top cities of different continents, he has also
presented over 300 articles in various newspapers on contemporary subjects. LPU
staff members will really be enthralled on having him amid them all.
There has to be something special about LPU that The Union HRD Minister is going to do this honour. It is the sincerity of the university in providing quality education that has helped them achieve this status. Good going LPU!!
